Two tools jewelers often shortlist

Clientbook is a well known clienteling app among independent jewelers and specialty retailers. At the time of writing it is sold after a demo, with pricing quoted per retailer, and it connects to a range of point of sale systems used in jewelry. Many stores like it, and it is a sensible product to evaluate.

Clientele takes a different starting point. Instead of giving associates a client database with reminders, it decides for them who comes first today. Every morning each associate gets a short ranked list with the reason, the value of the opportunity and a drafted message. The aim is simple: outreach that happens every day, not only when someone has time to search.

The best choice depends on how your team works, and on whether you want to see the price and start on your own.

Built around the facts a jeweler sells on

A Clientele profile holds ring size per hand, preferred metals and stones, designers, important dates, household members and their sizes, and the full history of purchases, repairs and conversations. The Money Feed reads those facts and turns them into reasons: an anniversary in seven days, an engagement ring upgrade window opening after the years you set, a resized ring ready for pickup, a sapphire delivery that matches a client's taste.

Each reason comes with a value in dollars, based on the client's history and the suggested piece, so associates start with the conversations worth the most. The full picture is on the jewelry CRM page.

Pricing in the open

Boutique costs $99 a month billed yearly for up to 3 associates, 2,500 client profiles and 1,500 AI written messages a month. Brand costs $299 a month billed yearly for up to 15 associates in 3 stores and adds POS connectors, sales attribution and client book reassignment. Flagship and Enterprise cover larger groups. All plans use self serve checkout, and monthly billing is twice the yearly monthly rate.

At the time of writing Clientbook quotes prices individually, so ask for the yearly total including setup and per store fees, and compare it with the plan that fits your team on the pricing page.

When Clientbook may suit you better

If your point of sale has a long standing integration with Clientbook that your team relies on, or you prefer a vendor led onboarding with a demo before anything else, Clientbook is worth a serious look. Ask how it handles consent per channel and what associates see on a typical morning.

When Clientele is the stronger fit

  • You want associates to start each day with a ranked list, not a search box.
  • You want drafted messages in each associate's voice, reviewed and sent by a person.
  • You want to see the price and buy without a demo call.
  • You message clients on WhatsApp as well as SMS and email, with consent recorded per channel.
  • You want sales credited to the associate who reached out.

Clientele is clienteling software for that way of working. Watch dealers will find the specifics on the crm for watch dealers page.

A practical test

  1. Export one store's clients and the last year of sales.
  2. Load the same file into each product you are evaluating.
  3. Count the clients each associate would contact this week and the minutes per message.
  4. Check consent records for one client on each channel.
  5. Compare the yearly total cost for your store count.

FAQ

Choosing between Clientele and Clientbook

Is Clientele a Clientbook alternative for independent jewelers?

Yes. Clientele is built for independent jewelers, watch dealers and boutiques. One store with up to 3 associates fits the Boutique plan at $99 a month billed yearly, bought through self serve checkout without a demo call.

How much does Clientbook cost?

Clientbook does not publish prices. Its pricing and plans pages (checked October 2026) ask you to schedule a demo and receive a personalized quote for your store. To compare, ask for the yearly total for your store count, setup fees and texting limits, and set it against Clientele Boutique at $1,188 a year or Brand at $3,588 a year.

What is the main difference in how associates work?

Clientele is organised around the Money Feed: each morning every associate gets a short ranked list of clients to contact, with the reason, the opportunity value in dollars and a message drafted in their voice. You can compare that with how Clientbook presents tasks and reminders in a demo.

Can I import my jewelry POS data?

Yes. Upload a CSV export from any point of sale on every plan, with fields for ring size, taste tags, birthdays, anniversaries and consent per channel. From the Brand plan, POS connectors and e-commerce webhooks bring new sales in automatically. Shopify syncs on every plan.

Are the AI drafts sent automatically?

No. A person always reads the draft and presses send. Drafts are written within the monthly AI allowance of your plan, from 1,500 a month on Boutique.

What happens to client books if I cancel?

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, and the app stays fully usable until then. The client data is yours: each client's full record can be exported as a file from the profile, the same way data subject requests are handled.
